Why I’m Not Afraid To Admit I’m In Love With Lush’s ‘Sleepy’ Body Lotion

I’m not afraid to admit — “I’m madly in love and addicted to a body lotion.”   I can’t get enough of Lush’s Sleepy Body Lotion and it’s sweet, lavender-scent.  I wish that I could pinpoint the ingredient that transports me to a euphoric, calm state of mind but just knowing it’s available year-round (yep, YEAR-ROUND) makes me happy.

I was first introduced to Sleepy in December 2017. My lovely office teammates gifted me a Sleepy and Twilight gift set and I’ve been obsessed ever sense.  So far I’ve gone though two 3.1 -ozers and one 7.4-oz tub.  I’m happy to report, I’m on my second 7.4-oz tub after stumbling into my local Lush store and to my ecstatic surprise, I discovered Sleepy was available year-round — not just during the holidays, not just included in a Twilight gift set, but on it’s VERY OWN.  (Insert happy dance and permanent delightful smirk on my mug).

I’ve been learning that many Sleepy enthusiasts use it in hopes to cure insomnia.  I find that it doesn’t put me to sleep but calms my nerves and settles my mind, which is why I use it after showers OR apply as needed.  Sleepy is definitely my signature scent and is perfect for my sensitive skin.

I also absolutely love that this product is Vegan and Cruelty Free.  I have no guilt or worries buying this product or supporting Lush Cosmetics. To learn more about Lush’s partners and the good work they are doing, go here.

Have a signature scent you can’t live without or are a devout Sleepy fan?  Please leave me a comment. I’d love to hear from you!
